Who We Are
Strength in Solidarity
The Northwest Indiana Building & Construction Trades Council is the unified voice of 31 affiliate unions working to advance the interests of skilled tradespeople across the region. Affiliated with the Indiana State AFL-CIO, we promote economic development, advocate for work site safety, and champion apprenticeship and journey-level training programs that build lifelong careers.
From the job site to the statehouse, we fight for legislation that supports working families—and we stand beside our affiliates in securing better wages, hours, and working conditions through collective bargaining.
